Pediatric Occupational Therapy

OT for kids? Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT) helps children develop skills to navigate their daily lives. See if your child could benefit from pediatric OT.

You may wonder, “What exactly is pediatric occupational therapy?” After all, the word “occupational” usually refers to work life. Yet, your preschool or school-age child is much too young for employment!

In this context, your child’s “occupation” involves gaining foundational motor, sensory, and self-regulation skills that help your child navigate daily life.

Children’s “occupations” include:

  • Self-care: dressing, eating, toileting
  • School tasks: coloring, cutting, writing, and staying focused
  • Social interactions
  • Navigating environments safely
  • Most importantly—play!

At Infinity & Beyond Pediatric Therapy, we use a child-centered, whole-body approach to help children build a strong foundation for all their daily life skills.

Parent Testimonials

“[Our son] is so excited on OT days. We recently added reflex and bodywork--and we weren’t sure how those would help—but wow! We can see differences in his reactions and fight or flight response.”
“I love how [Infinity & Beyond] integrates MNRI®/ bodywork into each session—the results are amazing! It gives real insight into how a child feels and what they truly need. If you haven’t tried MNRI® yet, I highly recommend you try it with [Infinity & Beyond].”
